The Opportunity

Canopy Growth is looking for an experienced, highly motivated ERP Customer Operations Manager to work within our Supply Chain Department.  The ideal candidate will have ERP and sales & distribution work experience, strong leadership and analytical skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Using the ERP, you will be responsible for managing the sales & distribution processes within the ERP, investigating and reconciling any issues.

This person would also assist with ERP deployments to new sites across the US, ensuring that sales & distribution processes are implemented and followed, master data is tracked and imported correctly into the ERP, standard operating procedures and work instructions are maintained and end users are trained and supported. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the ERP power user, point of contact with regards to supporting end users on sales, distribution and supply chain modules and business processes.
  • Be a champion for sales and distribution processes
  • Be the main point of contact to effectively manage all inquiries of internal and external customers
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies, processes and procedures relating to order entry, and ensuring that all Customer Operations tasks, order entries, product allocations, pricing, etc. in ERP system are accurate.
  • Establish, assess and report Customer Operational/Service/Incidents metrics for both internal and external stakeholder communication and management needs.
  • Work with procurement, logistics and other departments to manage the process with 3rd party contract manufacturers and 3PL’s
  • Working closely and collaborate with functional stakeholders (e.g. Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Inventory Control, etc.), drive continuous improvement for end-to-end operational and service processes with the goal of optimizing the customer experience while demonstrating fiscal responsibility.
  • Work with the Master Planner to ensure required resources are secured and execute the plan flawlessly in order to achieve operational excellence in line with customer expectations and company/department goals.
  • Be a respected strategic leader with superior communication and relationship building skills and have a proven ability to clearly articulate an operational strategy.
  • Ensure a customer focused culture in all customer interactions, and secure a positive and seamless customer experience
  • Assist with triaging any issues identified by the business, and work with IT and / or the ERP consultants to resolve those issues.
  • Actively identify root cause and corrective actions around Incidents with the goal of improving customer experience
  • Prepare analytics for managing decision making on continuous improvement ideas and prioritization and, also, for the ongoing report out of improvement performance
  • Build relations to stakeholders within country and global organization to gain and share experience and knowledge essential to Customer Operations to remove obstacles.
  • Establish, assess and report Customer Operational/Service/Incidents metrics for both internal and external stakeholder communication and management needs.
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork and a culture of respect by working together collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently with all employees to maintain a productive, collaborative and participatory work environment.
  • Train any end users on how to work with the sales & distribution module in the ERP.
  • Participate in Project Testing in Conference Room Pilots, where required.
  • Data cleansing - ensure master data definition is accurate and data for new sites is clean and validated prior to being imported into the ERP
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and work instructions
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Experience

  • A diploma/degree level education preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge and experience of customer Service, Operations, Logistics, MRP, Analytics required.
  • ERP Experience is a must.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities, advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies
  • Simultaneous management of multiple tasks
  • Advanced written, oral, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience with change control using an ERP
  • Involved in a tier 1 ERP implementation project would be an asset
  • Process oriented
  • Strong leadership & decision making skills
